Bengaluru NEET Students Climb Gate After Delay As BJP Blames Congress Rally | Praises PM Modi
A political war of words has erupted between the BJP and the Congress after three female students were denied entry to a NEET UG re-examination
A political war of words has erupted between the BJP and the Congress after three female students were denied entry to a NEET UG re-examination centre in Bengaluru for arriving late. Visuals showed the desperate students climbing the college gate after missing the strict entry deadline. The BJP accused the Congress of causing severe traffic disruptions due to a party rally in Bengaluru, which allegedly led to the students' delay.
BJP leaders contrasted this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent gesture, noting that he waited at the Delhi airport for 45 minutes upon returning from Kolkata to avoid causing traffic chaos for NEET aspirants. In response, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge dismissed the BJP's allegations, stating that the Congress rally had absolutely no role in the delay. He clarified that one student missed the bus, another arrived with an old hall ticket, and the reason for the third student's delay was still being ascertained.
The Congress also accused the BJP of ignoring paper leaks while politicising the delay of three students.
