The Testing Agency (NTA) has dismissed claims circulating on social media regarding a paper leak in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Terming a viral video as fabricated and fake, the NTA clarified that the re-test was successfully conducted under comprehensive security and surveillance. The agency warned that deliberately manufacturing and circulating such misinformation to alarm students is a serious offence.
Backed by 14C and law enforcement agencies, the NTA is taking strict action against those responsible for originating and sharing the fake content. It has appealed to students, parents, and the public to rely only on official websites and verified handles for information.
