Two people, Yogesh Negi and Rebecca Jacob, were killed in a high-speed road accident in Maharashtra's Badlapur on the Mumbai-Vadodara Highway. The luxury BMW car was racing at approximately 250 kilometres per hour when it collided with a divider. The car was completely damaged and reduced to mangled metal, with its parts scattered across the scene.
The occupants, Rebecca and Yogesh, succumbed to their severe injuries after being taken to the Badlapur Rural Hospital. The driver, Angad Gill, has been booked for rash driving after investigations revealed he was driving way above the speed limit and ignoring traffic rules.
