Apple may be getting ready for a busy few years. The tech giant is reportedly planning a host of new products that could arrive between 2026 and 2027, including foldable iPhones, AI-powered glasses, upgraded AirPods, Macs, iPads and smart home devices. If these plans materialise, the company's upcoming lineup could be one of the most ambitious in its history. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the lineup may even include products Apple has never launched before, such as smart glasses, AirPods equipped with cameras and a tabletop robot. And that's not all. Apple is also expected to introduce its first foldable iPhone this year. Read Full Story Foldable iPhone could arrive this year According to Gurman's latest Power On newsletter, it all starts this September. He expects Apple to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first foldable iPhone, which he refers to as the iPhone Ultra. The launch event could also include the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.
Other products reportedly arriving this year include multiple Macs and a refreshed entry-level iPad that supports Apple Intelligence thanks to an upgraded processor. Apple's smart display could recognise your face There is also a chance that Apple's long-rumoured smart home hub arrives in 2026. The device is said to feature a 7-inch display and act as a central command hub for the home. According to Gurman's earlier reports, the product resembles a square iPad that can either be attached to a half-dome-shaped speaker base or mounted on a wall. The interface is expected to include circular app icons arranged similarly to the Apple Watch's home screen. The standout feature could be facial recognition. The device is reportedly being designed to recognise people as they approach and display personalised information, including calendar appointments, reminders, notes, music and news preferences. Apple is also said to be working on a new iPad mini equipped with an OLED display. Meanwhile, a new Apple TV and HomePod mini with Apple Intelligence are reportedly in advanced testing.
Gurman says he would be surprised if they didn't arrive this year. However, major design changes are not expected. The biggest upgrades could be support for the new Siri and possibly a redesigned Apple TV remote. The iPhone's 20th anniversary could be Apple's biggest moment Next year marks the iPhone's 20th anniversary, and according to the report, Apple has even bigger plans. The company is expected to kick things off in spring with a second-generation iPhone Air. The device is said to bring improved battery life and a second rear camera, addressing some of the biggest complaints about the first-generation model. But the main attraction will reportedly arrive later that year. Apple is expected to launch special 20th anniversary iPhones, which could be called the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max. These devices are also expected to be joined by a second-generation foldable iPhone. The company is reportedly planning new AirPods as well. These earbuds could include cameras that feed visual data to Siri's AI system.
