Panic gripped in Ghaziabad's Khoda on Saturday after unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at a local builder. The victim, identified as Sitaram alias Pal Builder, escaped unhurt in the incident. According to police and local sources, Sitaram was sitting at his office when two men arrived on a blue scooter and allegedly fired at him. The builder claimed that the bullet missed him by nearly a foot, allowing him to escape without injury.

The footage purportedly shows two men on a scooter waiting at a short distance before approaching the office. One of the suspects is seen taking out a firearm and opening fire before both men speed away from the spot. The sound of gunfire drew local residents to the area, creating a commotion.
Eyewitnesses said the scooter's number plate appeared to be covered with mud, making it difficult to identify the vehicle. Both suspects were reportedly wearing helmets, concealing their identities. KHODA POLICE STARTS INVESTIGATION Police from Khoda police station reached the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and launched an investigation. Officers inspected the crime scene and collected CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify the accused.
Police officials said the motive behind the attack is yet to be established. Several angles are being examined, and teams have been formed to trace and arrest the assailants. Authorities said further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation. Ends
