As the NEET re-examination commences, the Testing Agency has issued a strict warning against paper leak rumours circulating on social media. The agency urged students and parents to rely solely on official updates, confirming that stringent action is being taken against fake claims and rumour-mongering. Across various examination centres, heavy security measures have been implemented. In Bengaluru, parents expressed that while the retest offers a second chance, the process remains highly stressful for the candidates.
Security personnel are thoroughly checking hall tickets before allowing entry. Meanwhile, at Maris Stella College in Vijayawada, the situation outside the centre was chaotic due to anxious parents and strict entry protocols. Authorities have banned items like polythene bags, permitting only essential documents such as identification cards and exam papers. Police have barricaded the areas to manage traffic and guide students to their designated rooms, ensuring the re-examination proceeds without further disruptions.
