Los Angeles has declared a state of emergency as firefighters continue to battle a stubborn multi-day warehouse fire that has blanketed the city in thick black smoke. The massive blaze broke out Wednesday in a 500,000-square-foot frozen food warehouse in Boyle Heights. Mayor Karen Bass activated emergency powers to ensure all necessary resources reach the teams.
Burning foam, suspected ammonia leaks, and melting solar panels have made the firefight extremely challenging. Residents are advised to limit outdoor exposure due to acrid smoke. Relief centers remain open. Watch live updates and ground reports with India Today LIVE.
