The Delhi government has announced free bus travel for NEET aspirants on the re-examination day, requiring admit cards for DTC rides. Cooling zones, water, ORS, and first aid are set up at examination centers for accompanying parents. The NEET retest takes place today from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, following the cancellation of the original May 3 exam due to an alleged paper leak and a subsequent CBI probe.
To prevent malpractices, a massive security shield is in place at all centers. This includes AI-based CCTV monitoring, facial authentication, double biometric verification staff, and over 51,000 signal jammers. Police, paramilitary forces, and the Indian Air Force are deployed to secure question papers, while the postal department handles OMR sheet logistics. Candidates must arrive by 11 AM for frisking and verification, with a strict 1:30 PM entry deadline.
