International Yoga Day 2026 Live Updates: Over 210 Indian missions abroad will organise International Day of Yoga celebrations at nearly 2,500 locations worldwide on June 21, as PM Narendra Modi leads the national event from Kolkata’s Red Road. The 12th edition of Yoga Day, themed ‘Yoga for Healthy Ageing’, will see synchronised sessions across India and overseas. Nearly 10 lakh people are expected in Kolkata alone, with around 35,000 joining Modi for the Common Yoga Protocol at 5 am.
Special events will also be held at 100 iconic cultural sites across India.
