The Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran on Saturday stated that the Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was “merely a qualifying examination” and “not the final verdict that determines” the life of anyone.
In a post on his social media handle, he called upon candidates appearing for Sunday’s NEET to face the examination confidently while keeping in mind that the outcome of any examination did not bring to a close all opportunities for one’s future.
He urged the Union government to take “immediate and appropriate” measures to ensure a transparent and reliable examination system. Meanwhile, the AIADMK announced that the
Anna Thozhirsanga Peravai, the labour wing of the party, would hold district-wise consultations from June 29 to July 20.
