The Artillery Centre, on Saturday, held the Attestation Parade for 2,436 Agniveers of Batch 8/26, marking the successful completion of their training and their formal induction into the Armed Forces. The ceremony was held at the Palani Parade Ground and was reviewed by Brigadier Rahul Machhral, Commandant and Chief Instructor, Artillery Centre.
The parade showcased synchronised drills and reflected the discipline and training imparted to the Agniveers during the course. The parade marked the culmination of several months of intensive training, during which the recruits were prepared physically, mentally and professionally for military service.
Addressing the newly-inducted soldiers, Brigadier Machhral commended the Agniveers for their dedication and perseverance. He underlined the important role they would play in safeguarding national security and urged them to uphold the values
and traditions of the Armed Forces. The Commandant also lauded the instructors and training staff for their efforts in shaping the recruits into trained soldiers, acknowledging their professionalism and commitment throughout the training process.
