The Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association’s Srikakulam district president B.V.V.N. Raju and general secretary Soni Kiran on Saturday urged the government to fill vacancies and provide adequate staff in all mandal revenue offices for the effective implementation of welfare schemes and discharge of official responsibilities.
As part of the Revenue Day celebrations, the association felicitated retired officials Jallepalli Rama Rao, M. Kali Prasad, D. Chandrasekhar, M. V. S. Suryanarayana and B. Umamaheswara Rao at a programme organised in Srikakulam. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Raju said the health of revenue officials and staff was being adversely affected by the heavy workload in several offices.
Mr. Kiran said the Revenue Department played a crucial role in delivering services to people in every corner of the district. Association associate president S.
