कोलकाता एयरपोर्ट पर जमकर बवाल देखने को मिला। ममता बनर्जी के भतीजे और सांसद अभिषेक बनर्जी के बाहर निकलने के कुछ ही देर बाद बीजेपी और टीएमसी समर्थकों के बीच टकराव हो गया और माहौल इतना बिगड़ गया कि धक्कामुक्की और कपड़े फाड़ने तक नौबत आ गई। एयरपोर्ट पर जोरदार हंगामे से अफरातफरी का माहौल बन गया। एक दूसरे के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की गई। एग्जिट गेट के पास दोनों पक्षों के सपोर्टर्स के बीच में विवाद बढ़ने पर पुलिस को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़ गया। विवाद को लेकर टीएमसी कार्यकर्ताओं ने आरोप भी लगाया कि एयरपोर्ट पर अभिषेक बनर्जी का इंतजार हो रहा था।
उन पर अंडा फेंक कर हमला करने की प्लानिंग थी। इसको लेकर बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं को रोका गया। There was a huge uproar at the Kolkata airport.
