Speaking to reporters outside the residence, the officer confirmed that he had come to deliver a High Court notice in connection with the case. “I have brought a High Court notice," the officer said. When asked whether the notice was meant for Giribala Singh, he replied, “Yes." Later, while leaving the residence, the officer declined to share further details and said senior officials would brief the media about the matter. Samarth Singh’s Brother Seen Leaving Residence Meanwhile, Siddharth Singh, brother of prime accused Samarth Singh, was seen leaving the residence along with a team of lawyers shortly after the notice was delivered. The development comes amid an intensifying investigation into the death of 33-year-old model and actor Twisha Sharma. Confirming the development, Bhopal Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar said Samarth Singh would be produced before a court within the legally mandated 24-hour period. “He has been taken into custody, and our police team is handling the process. We have to produce him before the court within twenty-four hours," the police commissioner said. Samarth Singh had reportedly surrendered before a court in Jabalpur before being detained by police. High Court Issues Notice On Giribala Singh’s Bail The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Friday also issued notices on petitions filed by Twisha Sharma’s father and the state government challenging the anticipatory bail granted to Giribala Singh by a lower court. Advocate Ankur Pandey, representing Twisha’s family, said the matter is scheduled to be heard again on May 25. Family Alleged Harassment Following her death on May 12, Twisha Sharma’s family accused her husband Samarth Singh and his family of mental harassment, dowry-related pressure and abetment.
Alleging irregularities in the initial investigation and postmortem process, the family approached the Madhya Pradesh High Court seeking an independent probe and a second postmortem examination, after which the state government recommended a CBI investigation into the case.
