In the latest shuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, the Tamil Nadu government has transferred T. Prabhushankar, Managing Director (MD), Metropolitan Transport Corporation Limited (MTC), and posted him as Director of Geology and Mining, replacing D. Mohan, who has been transferred and appointed as MD, MTC. According to a Government Order, V.P. Jeyaseelan, Joint Commissioner (Health), Greater Chennai Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director of Tourism, replacing M.S. Shanmugam, who is retiring on June 30.
Jeyaseelan will also function as MD, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited. J. Innocent Divya has been appointed as MD, Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers’ Cooperative Society (Co-optex), replacing Kavitha Ramu, who has been transferred and posted as MD, Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TUFIDCO). P. Ramana Saraswathi, MD, Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as MD, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, replacing Shreya P.
Singh, who has been posted as Joint Commissioner (Health), Greater Chennai Corporation. P. Akash, District Collector, Madurai, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Sivaganga, replacing Nishant Krishna,
who has been posted as District Collector, Madurai. N. Ponmani, Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Erode, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Tiruchi Region.
