The fire was brought under control after several hours of coordinated efforts. A fire broke out at the Nursing College building of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, triggering panic on the campus. The incident occurred in a laboratory located on the fourth floor of the building. Upon receiving information about the blaze, teams from the Bhubaneswar Fire Station rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations.
Additional support was provided by personnel from the SFF CR, Tamando Fire Station and the AIIMS Fire Station. After several hours of coordinated efforts, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished, officials said. According to preliminary reports, several pieces of furniture and other materials kept inside the laboratory were damaged in the incident. However, no injuries or loss of life have been reported.
