She alleged in her complaint that the young man invited the girl to his birthday party, where he spiked her cold drink with an intoxicant. After she lost consciousness, the accused raped her. According to the survivor, after the incident, the accused blackmailed her even as he promised to marry her. Under the false pretext of marriage, the accused started calling her to his house frequently and continuously sexually exploited her.
During this period, when the girl became pregnant, the accused forcefully administered abortion pills to her several times. When the victim pressured him for marriage, the accused reneged on his promise. He not only outright refused to marry her but also began blackmailing and harassing the girl, the complaint said. Senior police officer Suresh Kumar confirmed the case, saying that the girl has accused a young man of sexually exploiting and harassing her on the false promise of marriage.
In her complaint, the victim has also demanded to be married to the accused. The officer clarified that based on the application received, the process of registering an FIR is underway, and the police are actively conducting an intensive investigation into the matter.
