Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will formally launch the distribution of induction stoves to Anganwadi centres across the State during his visit to Linganguntla village in Chilakaluripet mandal on June 20, as part of the government's efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce dependence on LPG.
Palnadu District Collector Kritika Shukla told The Hindu that the Chief Minister would also participate in the Annadata Sukhibhava and Swachha Andhra-Swarna Andhra programmes and interact with a tenant farmer who has emerged as a role model for natural farming practices in the region. On Thursday, Ms. Shukla, accompanied by local MLA Prathipati Pulla Rao, inspected the proposed helipad site, public meeting venue and a local Anganwadi centre to review preparations for the Chief Minister's visit.
Later, she chaired a review meeting with officials from various departments and directed them to ensure seamless coordination for the event. The Collector said elaborate arrangements were being made for security, traffic management,
public amenities and logistics to facilitate the smooth conduct of the programmes. Senior district officials from multiple departments participated in the review meeting and discussed the action plan for the Chief Minister's visit.
