Police said the accused attacked her with a bat and a knife, allegedly suspecting that she practised black magic.
According to police, a PCR call was received at 11.36 am regarding the murder of a woman on the terrace of a building in Mount Kailash. ACP Kalkaji, along with the SHO of Amar Colony and local police personnel, immediately reached the spot and found the body of the woman, who was later identified as Meena. She worked as a domestic help. Police said the accused, a man in his 50s, was present beside the body when officers arrived. During questioning, he admitted to hitting the woman with a bat and later attacking her with a knife.
Investigators said the suspect accused Meena, who had come to his house for work, of practising black magic and attacked her. Police said the weapons used in the murder are being recovered. A crime team has been called to inspect the scene, and a case under the relevant sections is being registered. Further investigation is underway, police said.
