A bizarre CCTV clip from Gujarat’s Surat has gone viral, showing what social media is calling a "sanskari thief”. In the viral clip, a woman steals a bicycle but returns it the very next day and apologises in front of the camera. The incident took place on June 12 in the Salabatpura area, where a woman was seen quietly taking away a bicycle parked outside a residence.
The owner initially assumed the cycle was gone for good. However, what followed surprised everyone. She parked it exactly where it had been taken from, seemingly noticed the CCTV camera, and then folded her hands in an apparent gesture of apology before walking away.
The unusual act of stealing and then returning the item with a “sorry” has triggered a wave of reactions online, with many dubbing her a
