Just before sitting down for a bilateral meeting, their first in over a year, US President Donald Trump showered praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, described him as "calm", "cool" and a "total killer". The remarks by Trump at the G7 leaders' lunch underscore that the personal chemistry between the two leaders remains intact despite continuing strain in India-US ties.
