While buying books for his fifth grade, he took his father to Ruby Cricket Club in Nagpur, where it all began for him under the watchful eyes of Sanjog Binkar. Later, his craft was honed by Madhav Bakre at the Nagpur Cricket Academy. But the real turnaround came before his record-breaking 2024-25 domestic season, when he spent three weeks in Chennai with Ramji Srinivasan, the former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of the India national cricket team.
