Heavy rains and a cloudburst have triggered flash floods in North Kashmir's Kupwara district and the Tulail area of Gurez. The sudden deluge caused streams to overflow, sending floodwaters into residential areas and villages, disrupting daily life and traffic. While no loss of life or property has been reported so far, the erratic weather—including thunderstorms and hailstorms—is causing widespread damage to standing crops and orchards.
The Meteorological Department has issued warnings indicating that this erratic weather pattern is expected to continue for the next 10 to 15 days. Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
