Rapid Read Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump As a landmark US-Iran agreement moves closer to its scheduled signing on Friday, Israel has formally sought access to the memorandum of understanding, having previously voiced reservations about the deal. Earlier, US President Donald Trump said on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in France that he will release the text of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding in a formal setting. “I’ll not only release it, I’ll probably have a press conference and read it to you word by word, so that the press covers it accurately, because it’s a very important document," he said. While no official details of the agreement have been published, Iranian media outlets reported that it includes 14 clauses, including the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, the immediate lifting of the US blockade of Iranian ports, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian funds.
