Ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21, the government has announced temporary restrictions on Telegram to prevent paper leaks and curb organized exam fraud.
The move follows recommendations from the Testing Agency (NTA), the Department of Higher Education, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The department has also disabled editing features till June 30 to curb fraud.
