Speaking to reporters at the G7 Summit, Trump said, “the man that’s running Syria now" is “very good with Hezbollah". The remarks come as Israel’s fight against Hezbollah has been ongoing for the past several years. However, it has failed till now. CNN quoted the US President saying that he has “suggested to Israel" that Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, whom he called “a person that I put there" should “take care of Hezbollah." “He’s not a Boy Scout, but he’s done an amazing job of pulling it together, and he is very good with Hezbollah.
