Police are investigating the possibility that the teacher may have first killed his wife and son before taking his own life, with a note recovered from the house pointing to deep concerns about the family’s future. The police recovered a suicide note from the house, which was reportedly written by the retired teacher. The note mentioned the couple’s “weak" health, and how worried they were about their son’s future. The teacher also stated that no one should be held responsible for their deaths. “This is my last salutation to my relatives, friends, and well-wishers who have contributed to our rise.
My wife and I have become physically and mentally weak. Our 28-year-old son Saisukrit is innocent. Because of that, the three of us are committing suicide. No one is responsible for this," the retired teacher reportedly wrote in the letter. What Happened? According to local reports, 65-year-old Veerala Madhusudhan Rao, a retired secondary-grade teacher, lived in Duvvur village under Sangam mandal with his wife Ratnavali, 60, and their son Saisukrit, 28. On Sunday evening, Madhusudhan Rao reportedly spoke to his sister and asked her to bring mangoes. When she arrived at the family’s home on Monday, she found the bodies of the couple and their son hanging inside the house. Police were alerted immediately and launched an investigation. Authorities are examining all aspects of the case, including the contents of the suicide note recovered from the scene. A Family’s Concern For Their Son Police said the couple had adopted Saisukrit as a child and raised him as their own. They educated him up to the engineering level and reportedly supported him through his studies. Saisukrit had secured a job at a software company in Tirupati.
However, according to local reports, the family had approached the company regarding his employment. They were allegedly informed that his performance had not met expectations and that he should collect his certificates from the company. Investigators are examining whether these developments contributed to the family’s emotional distress. Investigators believe the family may have been under severe emotional strain and anxiety about what would happen to their son in the years ahead. Assets And Final Wishes Mentioned In Letter The suicide note reportedly contained detailed instructions regarding the family’s assets and final wishes. Madhusudhan Rao is said to have specified how certain properties should be distributed and also expressed his intention to donate a portion of land to the Red Cross Society in Nellore. He reportedly mentioned that funds had been set aside for funeral expenses and requested that his wishes be carried out after his death. Sangam police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation. The incident has left residents of Duvvur village in shock, with many struggling to come to terms with the loss of an entire family.
