When asked if the US-Iran deal could survive even if Israel attacks Lebanon, Trump said, “It can." “I consider that the minor war. Iran’s the big one, but we have that little pinprick out there that constantly rears its head and that’s Hezbollah," he added. Trump also said the deal announced with Iran should be successful, adding the second stage of the deal is expected to be easier. Trump Says Syria Should Take Care Of Hezbollah The US president appeared to criticise Israeli military action in Lebanon, saying they have been fighting Hezbollah for “too long and too many people are being killed." “I suggested to Israel to let Syria take care of Hezbollah because, to be honest with you, I think they’d do a better job of doing it," he said. He also warned that “all hell will rain down" on Iran if it attempts to acquire a nuclear weapon. Trump, who arrived in France for the G7 Summit on Monday, is expected to hold meetings with world leaders as discussions focus on trade, security, the Strait of Hormuz, Ukraine and broader geopolitical challenges.
