The aircraft crashed at California's Edwards Air Force base. An investigation is now underway into the cause of the disaster. The US Air Force said Monday that eight people are believed dead after a B-52 bomber crashed at a military base in California.
"Initial indications are that the crash was not survivable," the Edwards Air Force Base said on X. The aircraft was a Boeing B-52 Stratofortress which entered service in 1955.
The crew onboard were engaged in routine test mission before the disaster. An investigation into the cause of the crash is now underway. This is
