भारत और बांग्लादेश के बीच सीमा पर तनाव बना हुआ है. रविवार लगातार तीसरे दिन नादिया जिले के मुरुटिया इलाके में भारत-बांग्लादेश सीमा पर तनाव बना रहा. 12 लोगों के एक समूह को लेकर बॉर्डर सिक्योरिटी फोर्स (BSF) और बॉर्डर गार्ड बांग्लादेश (BGB) के बीच गतिरोध बना हुआ है. अभी तक दो दौर की फ्लैग मीटिंग हो चुकी है लेकिन अभी भी 12 लोगों के भविष्य का फैसला नहीं हो पाया है. इन लोगों को बीएसएफ ने सरहद के पार भेजा था और बांग्लादेशी बीजीबी ने उन्हें देश में घुसने से रोक दिया है.
