A government school in Telangana's Nalgonda district has undergone a major transformation, upgrading its infrastructure to match corporate institutions. Previously struggling with low student numbers, the ZPHS Bottuguda High School, now redeveloped as the Komatireddy Prateek Government High School, has recorded a massive surge in admissions. The institution received four thousand applications for just four hundred and fifty available seats, achieving hundred percent enrollment.
The school now features state-of-the-art amenities, including air-conditioned digital classrooms, artificial intelligence learning facilities, modern benches, and an elevator. Students are also provided with free uniforms, books, and mid-day meals, with a breakfast scheme planned for the future. Built with an investment of ten crore rupees, the upgraded facility aims to provide world-class education to students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds.
Parents are increasingly shifting their children from private schools to this government institution due to the high costs of private education and the availability of advanced facilities and qualified teachers here.
