During a historic first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Slovakia since nineteen ninety-three, the two nations elevated their bilateral relations to a comprehensive partnership. The Slovakian Prime Minister reaffirmed strong support for India's bid for a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council and entry into the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
Both sides condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and agreed to establish a joint working group on counter-terrorism. A comprehensive defence cooperation framework focusing on technology transfer, research, and military hardware is currently in development. Additionally, agreements on labor mobility, cybersecurity, semiconductors, and direct flights are being fast-tracked to deepen economic and technological collaboration between the two countries.
