At the India-Japan Conclave organised by India Today, Nayab Singh Saini outlined his strategic vision to attract foreign investments, specifically targeting Japanese enterprises. Highlighting Haryana's evolution into a premier industrial hub, the leadership emphasised a shift from merely offering incentives to building trust, speed, and resilient partnerships. With nearly four hundred Japanese industries already operating in the state, the focus is now on enhancing the speed of doing business through a single-roof clearance system that reduces approval timelines significantly.
To address infrastructure and logistical needs, the state is developing ten new Industrial Model Townships and ensuring seamless connectivity across the Capital Region. Furthermore, the administration is tackling the demand for skilled labour by aligning training programmes at local skill universities and industrial training institutes with industry requirements. The state has also introduced Japanese language courses in educational institutions to prepare the local youth for global opportunities, reinforcing the deep cultural and economic ties between the region and Japan.
