Roshan Anand, the director of Gyan Bindu Academy, has claimed that his life is under threat and that a conspiracy was hatched to kill him while he was lodged in jail. Speaking to India Today after being granted bail by a Patna court in a case related to the vandalism and stone-pelting at educator Khan Sir's' coaching institute, Anand accused his rival of plotting to eliminate him. Read Full Story "A conspiracy had been hatched to kill me while I was in jail. Khan Sir's guards were plotting to kill me inside the prison," he alleged. Anand also thanked the jail administration for extending full support to him and said he would reveal the truth behind his brother's murder.
His brother, Prince Yadav, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a hotel in Nepal's Biratnagar on Sunday. Nepal Police have launched an investigation and detained five individuals in connection with the case while awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death. Yadav had reportedly travelled to Nepal after leaving Bihar amid fears of arrest in connection with the recent violence. Meanwhile, students of Anand's academy gathered outside his institute in Patna following his release from jail and raised slogans against Khan Sir, leading to tensions in the area. KHAN SIR VERSUS GYAN BINDU The rivalry between Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, and Anand's Gyan Bindu Academy came to the fore earlier on June 2 when the former's coaching institute was allegedly vandalised and pelted with stones in Patna.
Khan Sir initially claimed that firing had taken place at the institute, but police were unable to confirm the allegation. He later said the investigation would establish what exactly had transpired. Three people, including Anand, were arrested in connection with the incident. However, Anand has described the charges against him as "cooked up and politically motivated". The controversy widened after videos related to the incident circulated online, prompting supporters of both sides to push competing narratives on social media. "Section 109 of the BNS (attempt to murder) was wrongfully invoked because the case lacked the legally required elements of intention, knowledge and the presence of the accused at the crime scene," Anand's lawyer said, alleging that Khan Sir used his "political influence" to damage Anand's reputation.
The case took another turn after police registered an FIR against Khan Sir and two of his private security guards over alleged firing outside the institute. Investigators questioned the guards, who allegedly stated that they opened fire after receiving instructions during escalating tensions outside the coaching centre. However, Khan Sir denied any wrongdoing and maintained that the truth would emerge through the investigation. A Patna court later granted him interim protection from arrest while allowing police to continue questioning him in connection with the case. Ends
