Upon his arrival in Bratislava, he was welcomed by Slovakia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanár. In keeping with traditional Slovak custom, he was offered 'bread and salt,' a gesture symbolizing respect, goodwill, and hospitality.
