The AIMIM chief has launched the party's campaign for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, asserting that the party is fully prepared to contest the polls. Targeting the main opposition bloc, the AIMIM chief warned against fake secularism and stated that the community will not surrender its political rights.
While being open to forming strategic alliances to prevent the ruling party from returning to power, the party emphasized that any electoral understanding must be based on equality and mutual respect. Meanwhile, other opposition figures argued that only the Congress leadership can effectively challenge the ruling party, setting up a major political contest for the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
