Middle East War: Israel Rejects US Peace Deal With Iran Amid Ongoing Military Operations In Lebanon

Israel's national security minister has rejected the United States peace deal with Iran, stating that the agreement does not bind their country. The minister asserted that Israel is an independent and sovereign nation. This development follows the United States leadership's condemnation of Israel's recent attack on Beirut during the peace deal negotiations. Despite the proposed agreement, which requires Iran to reduce its nuclear enrichment programme and stop supporting proxy groups, Israel refuses to halt its military operations.
The military has already captured ten to fifteen kilometres in southern Lebanon and maintains that operations will continue against Hezbollah and leadership in Iran. Protests have also erupted in Tel Aviv against the United States regarding the proposed deal, which is expected to be signed on the nineteenth of June. The rejection raises questions about the future of diplomatic efforts in the region, as Israel's primary objective remains focused on regime change and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
