A three-year-old girl, the daughter of migrant workers, went missing and was later found in a nearby bush in Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu. The child was sexually assaulted and subsequently died while undergoing treatment at a Chennai hospital. The accused, who is also a migrant worker, allegedly lured the victim using a five-rupee biscuit packet.
Local residents apprehended one suspect and handed them over to the police, while three others reportedly fled the scene. A nineteen-year-old accused has been arrested, and the police investigation into the horrifying incident is currently underway.
