President Donald Trump criticized Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu after an Israeli strike on Lebanon, saying "this morning’s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran." Trump went on to say that Israel has a right to defend itself against threats, "but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process." The clash happened as President Trump said he expects a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the US and Iran, brokered by mediator Pakistan, will be signed electronically Sunday.
