गाजियाबाद के खोड़ा में बकरी ईद पर कुर्बानी दिखाने के बहाने हुई हिंदू युवक सूर की हत्या अभी लोगों के जहन से उतरी भी नहीं थी कि उत्तराखंड में ठीक वैसा ही कांड हो गया। देहरादून में सिंचाई के पानी के विवाद में कट्टरपंथियों की भीड़ ने एक हिंदू युवक को मौत की नींद सुला दिया। इस वारदात से भड़के हिंदू संगठनों ने आरोपियों के एनकाउंटर और उनके घर पर बुलडोजर एक्शन की मांग को लेकर ऐसा बवाल काटा कि पूरा इलाका रणक्षेत्र बन गया।
