After the formation of the new South Coast Railway Zone (SCoR), its General Manager Sandeep Mathur conducted an intensive inspection of Tirupati railway station on Saturday. Emphasising the importance of timely execution, he instructed the officials to expedite the works and ensure the early completion while maintaining quality standards During his first inspection of the Vijayawada- Gudur-Tirupati section, Mr. Mathur reviewed various infrastructure and passenger amenity works, and the ongoing projects being undertaken in the SCoR Zone.
He inspected lifts, escalators, platforms, concourse area, circulating area, and interacted with the officials. The Guntakal Division made a detailed presentation on the status of ongoing projects, developmental activities, operational achievements and future plans.
