The UN humanitarian agency has warned of worsening conditions across Gaza and the occupied West Bank, citing growing shortages of medicine, rising settler violence, and increasing pressure on basic services. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, one-third of essential medicines are currently out of stock in the West Bank, while more than 11,000 surgeries have been postponed so far this year. The UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) also reported that since the start of 2026, more than 1,000 Israeli settler attacks have resulted in casualties or property damage across over 230 Palestinian communities in the West Bank, forcing more than 2,200 Palestinians from their homes. In Gaza, OCHA said more than 70 percent of residents depend on water delivered by trucks, warning that funding shortfalls are threatening the continuation of these supplies, according to Al Jazeera.
