To ease the situation, the Railways arranged special trains and made alternative transportation arrangements for candidates travelling to examination centres located in different districts. Officials assured students that efforts were being made to minimise inconvenience and help them reach their destinations. The protest continued for several hours before authorities managed to persuade students to clear the tracks.
