Zero Budget Natural Farming campaigner Subhash Palekar said that ‘Jivamrit’ (Jeevamrutham) is a potent organic fertilizer while addressing the farmers during the third day of a national workshop organised at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) in Tirupati on Saturday.
Explaining the science behind Jivamrit and its quantity, he said that it was a microbe booster developed for Subhash Palekar Krushi (SPK). It acts as an “elixir of life for plants,” introducing beneficial micro organisms into the soil to break down nutrients and make them readily available, Mr. Palekar claimed.
He also revealed the history of the SPK, the hardships involved in its creation, and step-by-step preparation of each layers with scientific reasons. He claimed
that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has and supported his research and provided funding.
