Eyewitnesses and preliminary investigations suggest that the attackers first opened fire at the victim before launching a brutal assault with sharp weapons. The attackers repeatedly struck the man, leaving him critically injured. Due to the severity of the injuries, Bhil died on the spot before any medical assistance could reach him. After carrying out the attack, the three accused fled the scene. The gruesome incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed near the tea stall. The footage, which has since surfaced on social media, shows the attackers carrying out the assault in full public view.
The CCTV clip has raised public concern, with many questioning how such a violent crime could occur on a busy highway during daylight hours. 'DISTRICT WIDE BLOCKADE HAS BEEN PUT IN PLACE' Banaskantha Superintendent of Police Chintan Teraiya confirmed the incident and said that police teams rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information about the firing and murder. "An initial investigation has been launched using available CCTV footage. Based on the evidence collected so far, a district-wide blockade has been put in place to identify and apprehend the accused.
All local police teams have been activated, and both technical and human intelligence resources are being used to trace those involved," the SP said. Police have begun examining possible motives behind the killing and are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby locations. No arrests had been made at the time of filing this report, and further investigation is underway. Ends
