Elon Musk became the world's first trillionaire after SpaceX shares opened at $150 on Friday, above the company's $135 IPO price. Musk, who also is a major shareholder and CEO of Tesla, is now worth an estimated $1.1 trillion, according to Forbes.
SpaceX began trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol SPCX. Shares soared 25% after opening for trading. LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall spoke about the IPO, and Musk's trillionaire status with Taha Ahmed, Managing Director of Post Oak Group.
