HYDERABAD Working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K.T. Rama Rao attributed the defeat of Congress party’s in charge of party affairs in Telangana Meenakshi Natarajan in the Rajya Sabha elections from Madhya Pradesh to the conspiracies within the Congress and it is for that party to conduct an internal inquiry to find out those leaders who had given information about cases against Ms. Natarajan in Telangana. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy who recites about special investigation team (SIT) probe into various issues could set up a SIT investigation into the defeat of Ms. Natarajan too, Mr. Rama Rao said and added that it was for the party bigwig Rahul Gandhi to find out the black sheep within the party.
People with political knowledge know who were among the Telangana Congress leaders who opposed Ms. Natarajan as the party in charge. Complimenting senior Congress leader Mohd. Ali Shabbir for stating that it is those who have money would get posts in the party, the BRS leader reminded him that it was the Congress that had given away the PCC chief’s post for a ‘price’. Only those who have mental illness would alone take dictator Hitler as the inspiration and boast about destruction such as the one taking place in Gaza.
He criticised the Chief Minister for blaming the 10-year rule of BRS for the chaos in the recent spell of rain forgetting the fact that it was the Congress that had ruled the State, combined Andhra Pradesh and the country, for about five decades. It was the
BRS that had taken up Strategic Nala Development Programme and Strategic Road Development Programme that had helped improve the conditions in Hyderabad. Further, Mr. Rama Rao criticised the BJP government at the Centre and alleged that it had done nothing for Telangana during the last 12 years.
