US President Donald Trump says he has called off planned strikes on Iran, citing what he described as a breakthrough in high level negotiations with Tehran.

However Iran’s Foreign Ministry says Tehran has not reached a final decision yet. Speaking at the White House, Trump said the “final points” of an agreement had been approved by all parties involved.
