Lebanon's president says diplomacy is the only solution to end the conflict with Israel. Joseph Aoun added that if Hezbollah continues to fight with Israel, it will only harm the country.
On the ground, there have been more casualties as Israel strikes targets across the south. Towns in Western Bekaa have also been attacked and two consecutive strikes hit the outskirts of Baalbek, in eastern Lebanon.
