Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has sought the support of the Central government for a range of strategic infrastructure, education, industrial and connectivity projects critical to the growth of Telangana and the country’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047. The Chief Minister, who called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday, highlighted the State government’s vision of Telangana Rising and outlined the State’s goal of becoming a US $1 trillion economy by 2034 and US $3 trillion economy by 2047 through investments in education, skills, infrastructure, manufacturing and innovation.

He sought early approvals and support for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, as well as the Prime Minister’s intervention to facilitate discussions with the government of Maharashtra regarding the Tummidihatti Barrage, a key component of the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Pranahita-Chevella Project. The Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister’s support for the establishment of an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Hyderabad and offered 200 acres of encumbrance-free land in Hyderabad for the institution. He also requested expeditious approval and implementation of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (Northern and Southern Corridors), the proposed Hyderabad–Amaravati–Bandar Port Expressway, and a four-lane elevated corridor from Mannanur to Srisailam on NH-765.

On urban mobility, he sought approval for the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II, covering 122.9 km across seven corridors at an estimated cost of ₹38,595 crore, as a joint venture project between the government of India and the government of Telangana. The Centre was requested to support the Musi River Rejuvenation Project and the development of Bharat Future City, envisioned as a next-generation sustainable urban hub. The Chief Minister urged the Centre to approve the proposed Regional Ring Rail Project, facilitate the establishment of a Central High-Speed Rail Hub at Shamshabad and support the development of high-speed rail connectivity linking Hyderabad with Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune.

Under the India Semiconductor Mission 2.0, he requested sanction of the proposed Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) at Future City with grant-in-aid support from the government of India.
